"If it’s to be it’s up to me“. Has anyone heard that saying before? I am sure many of you have. So many people think that to create order in their lives they have to get organized. Set goals, write out to do lists, plan, prioritize, fill in their day timers, and oh so much more.
Based upon some specific life experiences of growth and the challenges that preceded that progress; I want to explore the apparent, and powerful influences we all have within us to control our life's path.
“May you live in interesting times” is a well-known Chinese proverb and as we are all aware, we are most definitely living in interesting times!
This is your opportunity to join us for our annual White Stone Ceremony! In Jesus's day, when a person was released from prison, they were given a white stone to represent their new start. This sacred ceremony is meaningful for all as we set the tone for the start of a new year. During the White Stone Ceremony, each of us will be guided into a meditation experience that will lead us into receiving a word or phrase symbolizing a new start for our new year. We are invited to ask for guidance on what our word or words will be for the year that will represent our highest intention. It may even be a name that we hear for this new spiritual identity. You will write the word (s) on your stone and take it home with you, so you can put it in a special place as a reminder every day to be that which you are guided to be.
Join us for this inspiring ceremony and open yourself up to living into this new vision fully! The service will be facilitated by Bob Ellwood
In the words of Byron Katie, “If you want reality to be different than what it is, you might as well try to teach a cat to bark. You can try and try, and in the end the cat will look up at you and say meow. You can spend the rest of your life trying to teach a cat to bark.” Instead of engaging in that hopeless activity, join Tina to discover the power of accepting that what is, is.
Tina Thrussell is currently serving on Unity of Calgary’s Board of Directors as the Outreach Coordinator. Searching for the meaning of life and her place in the world drove Tina Thrussell into a steep learning curve. True to the adage, “we teach what we need to learn”, she spent 15 years developing personal growth seminars and workshops, facilitating at a variety of venues – conferences, teacher’s conventions, schools, non-profit organizations, etc. – as well as creating spiritual retreat experiences.
She’s finally arrived at the place of loving who she is and feeling on purpose and now creates impactful experiences within the Lightworkers Way of the Shin Dao – (which means the Way of the Heart) so you can live a joyful, passionate, fulfilling life, too.
