What is resistance. Is it ever helpful? How do we deal with it? It sometimes seems that we try to release resistance before we allow ourselves to fully explore the important messages it carries. We try and try to release it only to have it return, and sometimes almost immediately. What if we approached it entirely differently. What if we accepted and allowed it and sat in the silence with our resistance, holding it with curiosity and compassion, long enough to hear the underlying messages of fear and perhaps even love.
