Meditation prior to Rev. Doug Craigs talk.
When something mysterious happens, how do you relate to it? What does it tell you about the nature of reality? The nature of Spirit? Is it comforting or unnerving for you?
Tru’s talk is about The Power of Surrender and Trust as we move through the twists and turns of our daily life. Surrender guides us home to who we truly are when we hold the vision of knowing and feeling how the universe and divine synchronicity has our back, while we seek the "diamond in the ruff" in all that we go through. Tru will weave his original songs into his talk and guided meditation (with the Shakuhachi Flute and spoken word).
It is true - you are perfect, and Neil does love you! It is also true Neil wants you to change! The sooner you considering seeing it his way, the sooner you could be experiencing magnificent changes that may make your life even more awesome.
For today's talk, Neil is taking cues from the many modern-day masters he has learned from over several decades - like Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Janet Bray Attwood, and even some that you may not have heard of, such as John Izzo, Mathew Kelly and Thomas Moore - and sharing their wisdom with you. Be ready to change! (Or not.)
This dual ceremony is meaningful as we close out 2019 and prepare for the start of a new year. This is your opportunity to let go of anything that burdens your heart and declare the truth of what you deeply desire to be your experience in 2020.
In Jesus's day, when a person was released from prison, they were given a white stone to represent their new start. This sacred ceremony is meaningful for all as we set the tone for the start of a new year. During the White Stone Ceremony, each of us will be guided into a meditation experience that will lead us into receiving a word or phrase symbolizing a new start for our new year. We are invited to ask for guidance on what our word or words will be for the year that will represent our highest intention. It may even be a name that we hear for this new spiritual identity. You will write the word (s) on your stone and take it home with you, so you can put it in a special place as a reminder every day to be that which you are guided to be.
hat represents a Grinch state of consciousness? It’s when we find ourselves experiencing a sense of being somehow unworthy, when we are experiencing a negative state of mind which sometimes comes in the form of anger, jealousy, possessiveness, shame, or guilt. Wanting others to suffer as we are suffering as though that would make us feel better.
On the other hand, all of the Whos down in Whoville represent those parts of ourselves that are loving, and that truly want to experience Christmas as an opportunity to be filled with love and joy.
Come and find out how to turn our Grinch into Divine Love!
